AI assistant
The AI Assistant is a smart chat tool that helps you with your GIRITON system requests. The AI Assistant utilizes artificial intelligence and access to all online help documentation and selected company account settings. If the company account administrator permits it, the AI Assistant also has limited access to specific user information, but the AI Assistant can only see the same data that the user using the Assistant has access to, based on the user's permissions.
How to set up the AI Assistant?
The AI Assistant has only one setting, which is whether or not it should have access to individual user data.
- An AI assistant without permission to access user data has access to GIRITON online help documentation and selected settings of your company account only (such as the default number of vacation days).
- An AI assistant with permission to access user data also has (limited) access to specific user information. For example, it can work with how many vacation days a specific user has taken and, based on that, determine why that user's vacation balance is not as expected. With this permission enabled, the AI assistant does not see the first and last names of users, only user numbers.
The account administrator can set whether the AI assistant has access to user data in the User Menu -> Your Company, by checking the "AI assistant with access to user data" box.
What requests can the AI assistant handle?
The AI assistant can view user Permission group settings. For example, it can answer “why user number 007 cannot see the Projects agenda.”
It also has access to vacation calculation settings and, if the account administrator has enabled it, it also has access to when and how much vacation time a given user has taken. It can therefore also answer questions such as “why does user number 007 only has 140 hours of vacation time left instead of 160 hours?”.
